32-year-old Charles Hurkley was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery after he admitted he licked the back of a 3-year-old’s thigh and touched her vagina.
On June 25th, Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a forcible rape call at the residence of 5474 Morning Flower Cove. Linda Hofer reported her 3-year-old daughter had been touched inappropriately by her uncle. She advised he touched her daughter’s buttocks and stuck his finger in her vagina.
She believed the incident occurred on June 17th. On October 28th, detectives advised they met with Hurkley to get a statement. He admitted to the police he did lick the back of her thigh and touch her vagina.
On October 29th, he was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
