33-year-old Michael Ferguson was charged with domestic assault, possession of a handgun, and marijuana after he slammed a woman’s head into a wall, put a gun in a freezer, and exposed marijuana inside his car.
On October 26th, Memphis Police Officers Jones and Harper arrived at the residence of 326 South Parkway East in response to a domestic violence call. Upon arrival, Officer Jones reported Michael Ferguson placing a black handgun in a freezer as he argued with Tia Bell. Bell told officers Ferguson had a gun and after giving officers permission to search, they found a black Glock 23 Gen4 .40 S&W handgun in a freezer. When Ferguson was arrested, he advised officers his Black Cadillac ATS4 was still running and after going to his car, they found a baggie of marijuana on the dashboard. Officers also reported Ferguson to be on probation for seven years and two months because of an aggravated robbery in 2010.
