Repeat offender caught stealing again at Walmart

45-year-old Lapacus Forest was charged with burglary after he returned to a Walmart he has previously trespassed with the intent to steal again.

On November 6th, Memphis Police Officers Thompson and Tremmel responded to a complaint call at Walmart located at 6727 Raleigh Lagrange Road. Upon arrival, contact was made with Loss Prevention Officer Mecetz Boyd.

According to the affidavit, Boyd stated Lapacus Forest was warned to stay away from the property due to prior thefts. The officers reported Forest attempting to leave the store with a walkie talkie, an LED light bar, shoe inserts, a lunchbox, and a baseball cap that was valued at $55 total.

Lapacus Forest was arrested and charged with burglary. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
