Per Subrena’s account, the argument started over past relationships. As she tried to leave the apartment, Shequana struck her in the face multiple times with a closed fist. The two then began wrestling on the ground until Subrena could get free and get to her car to leave. As she was getting ready to drive away, Shequana opened the car door and punched her in the left arm, irritating a previously dislocated shoulder. No visible injuries were seen by the officers but she was transported to Baptist East for shoulder pain. Per Shequana’s account, the argument was only verbal and she grabbed Subrena’s arm but did not mean to hurt her. Shequana was determined to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.

Shequana Jones was arrested and charged with domestic assault causing bodily harm. She was later released on a $3,500 bond.
