On November 13th, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies Marr and Higgins arrived at the residence of Garry Glass, located at 8314 Millington Arlington Road, in response to a domestic violence call. She stated that Garry called her supervisor on November 12th and advised him that she was no longer able to work. She said she called her boss back the next day asking for her job back which caused the argument between her and Garry. As they were arguing, Dee reported she feared for her life so she locked herself inside the trunk of her car. She told the police that when she felt safe enough to go back inside, she called her friend to help her out of the trunk.

When she went back inside, they continued arguing until Garry threw a frozen pizza at her and smashed the pieces into her face. However, Gary stated the argument was verbal and did not get physical. He claimed he threw a pizza at the wall and denied smashing it in her face, although officers noted blood on Dee’s pants and a cut on her nose.

Garry Glass was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $2,500 bond.
