According to Lederius, Markesha was upset at him for telling her husband that there was another man calling for her. She told the couple to leave, but they informed her that her husband allowed them to stay. Markesha reportedly grabbed her gun and fired out the window near them, but neither got up to leave. Per the affidavit, she then shot at both Lederius and Peyton stating that the next shot “would be in their ass.” Lederius then called the police.

Markesha was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault. She was later released on a $30,000 bond.
