19-year-old Latasha Applewhite was charged with aggravated assault after she threatened her boyfriend with a knife and hit him several times in the head with a towel rack over a conversation about different ways of cheating, per report.
On November 23rd, Memphis Police arrived at the residence of 3596 Millbranch Road in response to a domestic disturbance call. Upon arrival, Roddariusee Eeast advised that he got into a fight with his girlfriend, Latasha Applewhite. He stated that when he called Beyoncé hot, Applewhite got upset, grabbed a knife, and threatened to hurt him.
Eeast said she tried to cut him but only got his hand as he tried to take the knife away. She then grabbed a towel holder off the wall and hit him on his head several times. They were both transported to Felony Response for further investigation where Applewhite waived her rights and gave a statement saying the fight was over different ways of cheating and claimed that Eeast strangled her. The officers saw no injuries to her and she admitted to having a butter knife and to hitting him in the head with a towel rack.
Latasha Applewhite was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. She was later released on a $1,000 bond.
