Registered sex offender exposes himself at Mexican restaurant

58-year-old Jasper Duncan was charged with a lack of a sex offender identification and indecent exposure after revealing his genitals to customers at Las Margaritas Mexican Restaurant on South 2nd Street.

On May 28th, officers were dispatched to Las Margaritas restaurant located at 97 S. 2nd St. in regards to a man exposing himself at the establishment. Upon arrival, manager Mike Rebollar explained that a male customer was exposing his genitalia to the customers and staff alike. Rebollar then identified the man responsible to law enforcement, who proceeded to make contact.

The man, later identified as Jasper Duncan, claimed that he had no identification with him. Further investigation revealed the man to be Duncan, who appeared to be a registered sex offender. The Tennessee Sex Offender Registry showed Duncan to be registered for the charge of aggravated rape in October of 1992.

Jasper Duncan was arrested and charged with possession of a sex offender identification required and indecent exposure. His bond was set at $3,500.
