21-year-old Kayla Clinton was charged with four counts of aggravated assault when she was accused of terrorizing four women with her Cadillac after a fight about a wig in a Kroger parking lot.
On May 11th, Memphis Police Officers were alerted at Mount Moriah Station about a situation that initiated in a nearby Kroger parking lot. According to the affidavit, Alexis Hammond and Chyna Maxwell were involved in a confrontation about a wig. Hammond left the lot in a red Pontiac Sunfire with Alancia Tyler, Julia Rodriguez and driver Ashley Moore.
Maxell left in a silver Mercedes and Kayla Clinton followed in a black Cadillac. Moore, Hammond, Tyler and Rodriguez all told authorities Maxwell and Clinton were driving foolishly and trying to crash their vehicle. They also mentioned the only reason destruction hadn’t occurred was because of Moore’s defensive driving.
Kayla Clinton was arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated assault and is currently jailed in lieu of a $3,000 bond.
