Woman charged with aggravated assault after 2 men said she shot one of them over $60

28-year-old Jermiah Jamison was charged with two counts of aggravated assault when two men said an argument over 60 bucks escalated to a car chase and shooting, per report.

On June 27th, Officers Brown and Dehority responded to a disturbance at Ridgeway Road and Highway 385. According to the affidavit, officers spoke to William Turner and Quentin Cole who told them Jermiah Jamison had shot Turner in the neck over $60. They had escaped from an altercation because Jamison had a handgun, but she and her brother followed them in another vehicle.

After hearing at least one gunshot, Quentin noticed Turner bleeding and drove until a flat tire halted them. Jermiah Jamison was placed into custody at 3225 Brompton Circle but could not give a statement due to the fact that she cannot read or hear and an interpreter was not available.

Jermiah Jamison was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault. Her bond was set at $3,000.
