Woman tells dispatchers that she has a knife and is “not afraid to use it”

41-year-old Heather Price was charged with domestic assault after shoving her boyfriend and telling both dispatchers that she had a knife and that she “was not afraid to use it.”

On August 14th, Officer Walsh was dispatched to 2531 Wellons Avenue to investigate a domestic assault with a possible armed party. While on the line with dispatchers, Heather Price said that she had a knife and “was not afraid to use it”. Jimmie Dozieer advised that Price, his girlfriend at the time, had pushed him and threatened him with a knife during an argument over groceries.

When officers attempted to speak with Price she warned officers that she would use the knife if she had to. Dozieer advised the police that he had not been injured during the altercation. Price did not get injured during the incident and officers were able to take her into custody without incident and transport her for booking.

Heather Price was arrested and charged with domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,000.
