On August 27th, Memphis Police Officers were dispatched to a fight involving multiple parties near 1010 Oakmont at the University Garden Apartments. Two minors required treatment at the hospital for injuries sustained during the incident. One of the juveniles reported that she had been stuck in the knee with a baseball bat by Tanisha Pledge. Ms. Pledge was still at the location when police arrived and provided a statement of the events that occurred from her point of view.
