24-year old Markeysha Price was charged with vandalism and domestic assault after she got physical with her boyfriend and broke a hotel TV during an argument.
On September 6, Shelby County Deputy B. Young and Deputy Freeman responded to a disturbance at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel on 4068 Stansell Court. Holiday Inn manager Maren Thompson Crowder stated there was a disturbance in progress. Deputies made contact with Markeysha Price in Room 225. Price said she and her boyfriend Quavias Hunt had gotten into an argument over his phone. She admitted to yelling, getting irate, and smashing the hotel’s LG TV that was valued at $625.
The argument then turned physical when Hunt attempted to leave the hotel room. Both Price and Hurt obtained multiple lacerations during the physical altercation. Deputies deemed Price to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.
Markeysha Price was arrested and charged with vandalism and domestic assault. Her bond was set at $1,000.
