Man pulls gun on cousin and family, tells them to get out of his face

55-year-old Robert Wiggins was charged with three counts of aggravated domestic assault after he pulled a gun on the family he lives with.

On August 22nd, Christina Gant called Memphis Police because her cousin Robert Wiggins was arguing with her about not waking her children. Gant, her husband Bryan Freeman, their child, and Wiggins all live together. Gant told police Wiggins pulled a gun from his waistband and told her to get out of his face. Wiggins made this threat to Gant while her husband and young daughter were on the porch.

A video of the incident was provided, and Wiggins was positively identified as the man who assaulted Gant in a photo line-up. Freeman told police he was holding his child during the incident and it put him in fear for his and his child’s life.

Robert Wiggins was arrested and charged with three counts of domestic aggravated assault. His bond was set at $50,000.
