Man trespasses and points gun at another, per report

29-year-old Patrick Bolin was charged with criminal trespass and aggravated assault after he pointed a semi-automatic handgun at a man in the middle of the street.

On September 2nd, Patrick Haynes contacted Memphis Police reporting that Patrick Bolin had pointed a firearm at him. Bolin was located at 4002 Rio Lobo Drive, Rivergrove Apartments, where Officer Granger spoke with the leasing manager who stated that Bolin was on the Apartment Owners Association list.

Patrick Bolin was transported to Austin Peay Station. Patrick Haynes later arrived at the station where he gave a recorded statement. Haynes stated that Bolin pulled a black and chrome semi-automatic handgun from his right front pocket so he drove away from him. Bolin then walked into the middle of the street and pointed the firearm at Haynes. Haynes identified Bolin as the person responsible for these actions in a six-person photo lineup. Bolin refused to give a statement.

Patrick Bolin was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and aggravated assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $20,000 bond.
