Police witness woman flee Walgreens with $227 in stolen items

29-year-old Alexandria Bell was charged with theft of merchandise after police witnessed her exit a Walgreens store with $227.17 of unpurchased items.

On September 2nd, Officer Burton responded to a shoplifting incident reported in Walgreens at 1845 South Third Street. Police were waved down by store manager Dailaun Holmes, who pointed officers in the direction of Alexandria Bell as she passed the last checkout and walked out the door with a cart full of items.

Officer Burton witnessed Alexandria outside with the $227.17 worth of unbought store items. All of the items were returned to the store and Alexandria was taken into custody.

Alexandria Bell was charged with theft of merchandise. Her bond was set at $4,000.
