48-year-old Keith Donaldson was charged with domestic assault when he struck his ex-girlfriend in the face while she was grilling with a male co-worker at a gathering.
On October 16th, Memphis Police Officers Davis and Patterson responded to a residence located at 3251 Park Avenue for a domestic assault call. Cassandra Spearman told officers that Keith Donaldson, her ex-boyfriend, had started arguing with her, and struck her in the face.
Spearman said that she and Donaldson were trying to rekindle a previous relationship and Donaldson was jealous of a male co-worker that was outside with her while she was grilling. She stated that he was jealous of her male coworker. Officers took photos, and the domestic violence holds harmless form was filled out. A witness, Crystal Tricksey verified Spearman’s statement and witnessed Donaldson striking Spearman. Medical treatment was offered but Spearman refused.
Keith Donaldson was arrested and charged with domestic assault with bodily harm. He was released on his own recognizance with conditions.
