Man bites cheek of ex-girlfriend when she blocks him from entering home

42-year-old Lawrence Fulwiley was charged with domestic assault after he punched his ex-girlfriend in the face as she sat in the front seat of her uncle’s vehicle after another altercation took place in a residence, per report.

On November 24th, Memphis Police Officers Piantedosi and Miller arrived at the residence of 749 West Raines Road in response to a domestic assault call. Upon arrival, they made contact with Sheena Flynn, who was bleeding heavily from the top of her left eye.

Flynn stated that her ex-boyfriend, Lawrence Fulwiley, punched her in the face while she was sitting in the passenger seat of her uncle’s car. Prior to this incident, she said he showed up at her house, banged on the door, and refused to leave when she asked. Per the report, she was helping her daughter move a couch when he arrived and she tried to prevent him from entering, but he responded by biting her cheek. Lawrence fled the scene and the officers located him a short time later with the help of Sheena. She advised the officers of his address and when they arrived, he attempted to run. After a brief foot chase, Officer Miller detained him and took him into custody without incident.

Lawrence Fulwiley was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was later released on a $2,500 bond.
