29-year-old Lester Howard was charged with domestic assault after he went into a fit of rage, breaking a mirror, tearing the door off the hinges, and trashing the bedroom, per report.
On November 14th, Memphis Police Officers Taylor and McClinton arrived at the residence of 4248 Willow Park Drive in response to a domestic violence call. Upon arrival, Shannon Johnson advised she got into an argument with her husband, Lester Howard, when she came home and found a pair of women’s underwear on the floor.
When she asked him about the underwear, she said he went into a fit of rage. According to the affidavit, he broke a mirror, ripped a door off the hinges, and trashed their bedroom. Johnson feared for her life and stated that she retrieved her firearm for self-defense. She reported that she then ran out of the house and called the police.
Lester Howard was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He was released on his own recognizance.
