49-year-old Tony Joshua was charged with theft of property after he was caught shoplifting $12 worth of incense.
On November 10th, Memphis Police Officer Newberry was dispatched to South Gate Shopping Center located at 1977 South Third Street in regards to a shoplifting incident.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the security officer, Terry Johnson, who stated that Tony Joshua had concealed five packs of incense, which valued at $2 a piece, in his pocket.
Tony Joshua was arrested and charged with theft of property. He was released on his own recognizance.
