41-year-old was Cortex Hubbard charged with domestic assault after he swung a stool at his brother over a missing cell phone.
On October 26th, Memphis Police Officer Gray and Sniezek responded to a disturbance call at the residence of 926 Semmes Street. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Kevin Jones, who advised he had argued with his brother, Cortex Hubbard, over a missing phone.
Jones stated the argument escalated when Hubbard grabbed a stool and began swinging it at him. Jones informed the police that his brother hit him twice on his right shoulder and made a cut to his left hand.
Cortex Hubbard was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $2,000 bond.
