Teen steals $300 cash, a safe, a gold necklace, and other items from her former employer’s home

18-year-old Tierra Jackson was charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property after she was caught on camera breaking into her former employer’s residence then stealing items while she slept.

On September 21st, Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to 4159 Hampton Manor Lane for a Burglary call. Upon arrival, contact was made with Lena Muhammad who stated that at the time of the burglary she and her family were asleep.

Lena provided video footage of Tierra Jackson, her former employee, burglarizing her home. Stating that Tierra entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole multiple items, to include; a sentry safe, a gold necklace, $300 cash, paper towels, and other items that totalled approximately $1,320.

On October 28th, Tierra Jackson was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property. She was later released on her own recognizance.
