41-year-old Robert Clayborne was charged with domestic assault after threatening his brother with a frying pan over some cloth in their mother’s kitchen.
On November 9th, Shelby County Officers T. Scott, D. Tutera, and M. Hardin responded to a domestic violence call at 1841 South Perkins Rd. The call, made by Melba Johnson, was to inform the officers that her sons, Justin Holloway and Robert Clayborne, got into an altercation over some cloth and that she needed them out of her residence.
According to the affidavit, when officers arrived on the scene both brothers were gone. Justin returned shortly after to inform the officers that before they arrived, Robert threatened to hurt him with a pan from the kitchen and that he was in fear about what he would do. While the police were completing their report, Robert returned to the scene and was promptly arrested.
Robert Clayborne was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $2,250 bond.
