Woman gives ex two piece then breaks window to his home and scratches his truck

38-year-old Kabriqua Tate was charged with domestic assault and vandalism after punching her ex-boyfriend in the head and chest as well as damaging his property.

On September 6th, Memphis Police Officer Canfield responded to a domestic violence call by Jerome Payne. He reported that his ex-girlfriend, Kabriqua Tate, punched him in the face and chest outside of his home located at 3338 Bowen Avenue.

Payne reported that he went inside and Tate grabbed a piece of wood and broke the front door window of the home. He went on to say that she picked up a different unknown object and scratched the passenger rear panel of his 2018 GMC Sierra before she fled. Officer Canfield noted there was minor swelling to Payne’s face and that Tate was recognized due to prior reports involving her and Payne.

On October 26th, Kabriqua Tate was arrested and charged with domestic assault and vandalism. She was later released on a $500 bond.
