40-year-old Charles Curtis was charged with domestic assault after he accused his ex-girlfriend of sleeping with his brother and punched her in the face.
On December 10th, Memphis Police Officers Pittman and Jenkins responded to a domestic violence call at the residence of 2358 Poe Avenue. According to the affidavit, Jasmine Dunmars flagged police down to the back parking lot of Airways Station, located at 2234 Truitt Street.
She advised her ex-boyfriend, Charles Curtis, was mad at her and accused her of sleeping with his brother. According to the affidavit, Curtis punched Dunmars in her right eye, leaving it black and bruised. The officers then located Curtis hiding behind the bushes near the police station.
Charles Curtis was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
