38-year-old Allen Livingston was charged with domestic assault and vandalism after his children’s mother reported to police that he threatened to beat her twice and then damaged her kitchen window.
On December 6th, Memphis Police Officers Wood and Lavery arrived at the residence of Kyeshia Watkins at 4665 Christyshire Drive in response to a domestic disturbance call. Upon arrival, Kyeshia advised her children’s father, Allen Livingston, showed up unexpectedly at her house and was drunk but she allowed him inside out of concern for his safety.
She stated he became aggressive and pushed her, saying he would “beat her ass.” She then told him to leave but he refused and she called the police when he broke the rear kitchen window. According to the affidavit, Allen was sitting at the kitchen table when the police arrived and while Kyeshia gave her statement, he said “bitch I’ll beat your ass.” The police reported Allen smelled of alcohol, his speech was slurred, and there was damage to the kitchen window.
Allen Livingston was arrested and charged with domestic assault and vandalism. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
