43-year old Deablo Rogers was charged with stalking after he went to his ex-girlfriend’s house, demanded to see her, and refused to leave. When police arrived, he complained of chest pain and was taken to the hospital.
On September 4th, Deablo Rogers went to 118 E Frank Avenue the home of his ex-girlfriend, Valerie Long. Rogers began to beat on Long’s front door. Memphis Police officers responded to the residence to find Rogers still there and refusing to leave the premises. Long told Officer K. Payne that Rogers had been following her, driving back and forth over her front yard, and tried to take the phone away from Long when she had called to report him at her home.
Long said she had become fearful of Rogers because of his threatening and intimidating manner. Rogers told officers that he was having chest pains. Memphis Fire Department transported Rogers to Regional One Hospital where he was held while in custody. Valerie Long signed a hold harmless and lethality form.
Deablo Rogers was arrested and charged with stalking. His bond was set at $1,000.
