22-year-old Brianna Frazier was charged with reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of a weapon after firing her weapon twice at the ground in the direction of her neighbor before hiding the weapon.
On September 25th, Memphis Police Officers were dispatched to 463 Bradcliff Cove on a shots-fired call. Shantaria Singleton told officers that her neighbor, Brianna Frazier, fired shots into the ground in her direction during an argument. After Frazier was detained, additional investigators were called out to the scene.
Frazier was advised of her rights, which she waived to give a statement. She stated that Shantaria was yelling and arguing with her family outside of their house so she fired two shots at the ground as a deterrent. She also told them she hid the gun in the backyard under some pine needles. Investigators located a pink and black .22 caliber Sig Sauer beneath pine needles, near an air-conditioning unit in Frazier’s backyard at 474 Bradcliff Cove.
Brianna Frazier was arrested and charged with felony reckless endangerment and felony unlawful possession of a weapon. She was later released on her own recognizance.
