Gabriel Cole shoots at ex-boyfriend with new boyfriend’s gun

30-year-old Gabriel Cole was involved in an altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Isaiah Kelly, at his sister’s home on Frayser Boulevard on May 27th. When Cole showed up, she and Kelly got into an argument. During the argument, Cole pulled out her gun and fired four to five shots in Kelly’s direction. Cole left before officers arrived but was stopped and detained at Leyton Cove. Cole waived her rights and admitted that she borrowed the gun from her new boyfriend and fired it at Kelly. Gabriel Cole was taken into custody and charged with reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.

Kristin McFaden kicks police officer in face after drinking Patron with friend

22-year-old Kristin McFaden was seen publicly intoxicated and hitting officers at a Cochran Street residence on May 20th. When officers arrived on the scene they spoke with McFaden and noticed the smell of alcohol on her as well as her slurred speech. McFaden told officers that she had been drinking patron with her friend. Officers deemed her too drunk for her own safety and attempted to take her into custody, causing her to become irate. Officers took McFaden to a Mental health institution located near Court Avenue to detox her. The staff at the institute attempted to treat McFaden, but due to her behavior, they told officers, “You all could take her to jail.” As officers attempted to put McFaden back into the police vehicle, she kicked an officer in the left side of the face. McFaden was then taken to the station and charged with Assault against a first responder and reckless endangerment.

Daijah Jones shoots multiple rounds at ex-boyfriend as he moves into sister’s home

21-year-old Daijah Jones was seen assaulting someone on April 1st and April 2nd at an Addington Drive residence. On the scene, officers spoke with Lamika Jeffreys and Tyreco McDonald. They stated that their residence and vehicles were shot and damaged by Daijah Jones. Jeffreys stated that her brother, McDonald, had moved into the residence on April 1st after ending a year-long relationship with Jones. McDonald told officers that earlier in the day, he had observed a white Nissan driving slowly past the residence as he was moving in. Surveillance showed the white Nissan drive to the front of the house and open fire on both April 1st and April 2nd. The garage of the residence, the tire on Jeffrey’s vehicle, and the hood of McDonald’s vehicle were struck by the bullets, the damage totaling $2,003. Jefferys, McDonald, and Jeffreys’s juvenile son were inside the residence during both shootings.

On April 5th, Jeffreys arrived at Jones’ residence and observed the exact white Nissan in the area being driven by Jones. Jeffreys contacted officers after noticing Jones following her vehicle. Investigators conducted a formal interview with Jeffreys and McDonald, and they both successfully identified Jones as the person responsible. Ross Fields, a witness, also stated that he had seen the white Nissan fire shots from the vehicle. Fields also stated that he had seen the car being driven to a Loch Lomond Road residence. McDonald also had an order of protection against Jones. Jones was taken into custody on May 18th for two counts of aggravated assault, one count of reckless endangerment with a real weapon, one count of discharging a firearm into a habitation, three counts of discharging from within a motor vehicle two counts of vandalism, and two counts of violating a protection order on May 19th.

Chaela Toole shoots at women who were hanging out with her boyfriend

CHAELA TOOLE FEAT

34-year-old Chaela Toole was caught after shooting at a Lowell Avenue residence on April 27th. Officers were stopped at an Arlington residence regarding an incident that occurred on Lowell Avenue. Officers spoke with Danisha Watson and Tyonna Meadows, who informed them that they were physically assaulted with a handgun and shot at by Chaela Toole. Both Watson and Meadows had been hanging out with Rufus Bingham, a male friend who is also Ms. Toole’s boyfriend. Toole arrived on the scene uninvited and blocked them in the driveway before exiting and fighting Meadows. Toole was observed to be armed with brass knuckles and a handgun.

Watson and Meadows then claimed that as they fled the scene, they observed Toole raising her handgun and firing several shots at them in traffic from her Dodge Challenger. Watson and Meadows then gave officers a description of Toole to officers. Officers arrived at the Lowell Avenue residence and noticed the Dodge Challenger matching the description, registered to the name Chaela Toole. Investigators interviewed Watson, and she identified Toole as the one responsible for the assault. Watson also stated she was targeted by association and that Toole showed up to confront her boyfriend and Meadows. A warrant was issued, and Toole was taken into custody on May 10th for two counts of Aggravated assault, one count of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and two counts of discharging a firearm from within a motor vehicle.

Emma Smith shoots at minor at North Watkins Family Dollar

25-year-old Emma Smith had an altercation with Rodneisha Mitchell and a minor female, A.F., at the North Watkins Family Dollar on May 1st. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Mitchell and A.F., who stated that they observed Smith in the parking lot near a tow truck in front of the establishment. Since she previously threatened Mitchell and wanted to fight, they entered the location to try to avoid confrontation. Mitchell provided officers with photos of the threats she sent her.

When they exited Family Dollar, Smith shouted, “What’s up? You want to jack,” before pulling out a handgun, firing a shot, and pulling off in a white sedan. Officers reviewed surveillance, which showed them exiting the store and looking toward the tow truck. Then, A.F. was ducking and running in the opposite direction of the white sedan, speeding toward them. They later identified Smith in a 6-person lineup. During the interview, Mitchell said that Smith was trying to retaliate against her for a fight in December 2023. Then, A.F. said the incident made her feel like her life was in danger, adding that she and her sister could have been struck by gunfire. Smith was then taken into custody for two counts of reckless endangerment.
